Kathmandu. NMB Bank Limited and International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (IICDC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an aim to promote sustainable and climate development. The partnership aims to combine science-based knowledge and solutions with financial opportunities to make the green financing sector in Nepal more effective.
Under this collaboration, ICIMOD’s research, technical know-how, and capacity building experience will be combined with NMB Bank Limited’s expertise in the financial sector. This is expected to help identify sustainable projects and investment opportunities that can protect the environment, mitigate the impacts of climate change, and enhance the resilience of local communities.
