NIC ASIA Laghubitta’s Progress Review and Strategy Planning Meeting

Kathmandu. NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha’s Corporate Office, Banepa organized the ‘Progress Review and Strategy Planning Meet’ held at Royal Boutique Hotel, Kathmandu on May 22. The program reviewed the overall progress of the fiscal year 2082/83 and discussed in detail on budget formulation, political line and strategic plan for the coming fiscal year 2083/84.

The active participation of Bagmati and Gandaki province branch managers, deputy province chiefs and provincial chiefs made the programme more fruitful.

On the occasion, discussions were held on the organization’s future strategy, ways to make service delivery more effective, improve the performance at the branch level and make the management system more systematic.

The provision of accountants in the branches has significantly eased the branch operation, documentation and daily operations, which has contributed positively to make the service delivery more effective.

In addition, such planning and review meetings were believed to play an important role in making the performance of the organization more clear, systematic and result-oriented.

Likewise, in order to make the annual employee evaluation process more effective, transparent and result-oriented, the human resource department will collect the performance details of the employees and evaluate them on the basis of performance. This process is expected to help increase the sense of responsibility, efficiency and professional responsibility of the employees.

Acting Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Mesh Bahadur Basnet, said that the organization would be moved forward in a more technology-friendly, responsible and member-centric manner in the coming fiscal year. He expressed his confidence that the organization would play an even more effective role in economic empowerment of rural and impoverished communities by further strengthening corporate governance, customer protection and quality service delivery.

Also present in the program were Assistant Chief Executive Officer Ganesh Ghimire, Assistant General Manager Rajendra Neupane and departmental heads. Their guidance, suggestions and active participation played an important role in making the program more effective, result-oriented and result-oriented.

The program is expected to contribute significantly to make the future action plan more clear, result-oriented and in line with the long-term objectives of the organization.
