Kathmandu. NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has successfully conducted Basic Accounting and Finance Management Training Program with an aim to enhance the professional competency of accountant staff working in its various branches.
On the second day of the training, the participants were provided detailed information about basic concept and practical application of accounting in microfinance, structure and analysis of financial statements, daily account record management and importance of a strong internal control system. In addition, the training equips the participants with practical skills and knowledge to make their day-to-day performance more effective, systematic and result-oriented.
On the occasion, Ashish Gautam, Head of Accounting, Finance and Planning Department of the organization explained various important aspects related to accounting with practical examples. He also stressed on effectiveness of account management, financial discipline and use of digital system to ensure safe and transparent transactions.
In addition, Binod Niraula, an employee of the same department, gave more technical information related to QR Code and explained important topics related to Bank Reconciliation. Similarly, Sundar Kumar Bot, an employee at the Department of Training and Consumer Protection, shed light on the impact of the loan that has exceeded the deadline and stressed on the proper utilization of loans, timely payment of installments and strengthening the organization. He also facilitated the training program.
Such training programs are expected to enhance the capacity of the employees as well as contribute significantly to institutional strengthening.
