Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has provided laptops, computers and projectors to 4 community schools in different districts. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has provided laptops, desktop computers and projectors to Mahavir Secondary School in Dhangadhimai Municipality-9, Siraha, Chainpur, Thakurbaba Municipality-2, Karmala, Nepal Rastriya Secondary School in Bardiya, Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-19, Panchayat Rajat Jayanti Primary School in Jabdi, Sunsari and Birendra Public School in Sunbarshi Municipality-2, Amardaha, Morang.
Lekhraj Poudel, Circle Head of the Bank and Rajeshwor Shah, Lahan Branch Head jointly handed over a desktop computer and a projector to the Principal of the school, Mr. Ram Kumar Thakur.
Likewise, on the same day, the bank’s Magaraghi branch chief Mahendra Bahadur Shahi handed over a laptop and two desktop computers to the school’s Principal, Kalam Bahadur Shahi.
Similarly, Bishal Ghimire, Circle Head, Itahari, and Sandesh Bhandari, Head of Tarahara Branch, jointly handed over two laptops and three desktop computers to the Principal of the school, Gopi Krishna Dangal.
Mr. Bhupendra Poudel, Circle Head, Damak of Yes Bank, handed over two laptops and two desktop computers to the Principal of the school, Mr. Dhan Bahadur Basnet.
The bank believes that the support provided to the schools will facilitate the learning activities of students and help create a quality learning environment.
