Kathmandu. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, NIC ASIA Bank has handed over over 150 educational materials to students of Shanti Sewa Groom at Tilganga, Kathmandu. The bank’s Chief Executive Officer Sujit Kumar Shakya and DY CEO Santosh Kumar Rathi handed over the bags and other educational materials to Apsara Karki, Managing Director of the bank on March 11, 2018.
The bank has provided scholarships to poor, meritorious and underprivileged students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 from various government and community schools in all seven provinces this year. In addition to this, the bank has been providing scholarships to meritorious students of government and community schools and has established library buildings in various government and community schools in all seven provinces.
The bank believes that the support provided to the students at Shanti Sewa Griha, Kathmandu will enhance their quality of education and also help them to continue their studies.
