Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher today. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 48.71 points to close at 2,851 points. Today, the share prices of 251 companies have increased while only 16 companies have fallen.
During the day, 2,79,31,000 shares of 338 companies were traded and over Rs 9.91 billion worth of shares were traded. Shares of National Hydropower Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 43.47 crore were traded. Shares of Reedy Power worth Rs 41.34 crore were traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company Ltd (HLIC) were traded at Rs 39.86 crore.
The investors of Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta, Reliance Spinning Mills, Bhujung Hydropower, Ridge Line Energy, Solu Hydro and Hotel Forest earned the most today. Today, the investors of these six companies have earned at the rate of 10 percent. The investors of Super Khudi and Suryakunda have earned 9.99 percent each.
Today, NIC Asia Balance Fund suffered the most losses. Today, its unit owners lost 6 percent.
