NEPSE index declines to Rs 6.86 billion

Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 1.13 points to close at 2600 points. Today, the share prices of 120 companies have increased while the prices of 135 companies have fallen. Banking, development banks, finance, hotels and tourism, hydropower, life insurance and others saw a decline.

A total of 1,06,60,537 units of shares of 367 companies were traded and over Rs 6.86 billion worth of shares were traded today. Today, the highest number of units of Nepal Bank debentures were traded. Today, it has a unit turnover of Rs 89.91 crore. RBB Debentures had a turnover of Rs 69.85 crore. Shares of Sanima Debentures worth Rs 28.59 crore were traded.

Today, the investors of self-reliant microfinance have earned the most money. Today, the investors of this company have earned at the rate of 10.66 percent. Kumari Equity Fund has earned 9.09 per cent. Investors of Kalanga Hydro earned 6.92 percent.

Today, the investors of Bhagwati Hydropower have lost the most. Investors in the company lost 7.84 percent today.
