Kathmandu. Nepali Congress candidate Nishkal Rai has been elected to the House of Representatives from Ilam-1. He won with a wide margin of votes compared to his rivals.
He garnered 14,543 votes while his nearest rival Kajiman Kagate of CPN (UML) got 13,632 votes.
