Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lists preferential shares of Machhapuchchhre Bank

Kathmandu. The majority shares of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (Machhapuchchhre Bank) have been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Thursday.

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has listed Machhapuchchhre Unreleased Anchiti Preferential Share worth Rs 3 billion. As per the listing, the bank has listed a total of 30 million units of preferential shares at a face value of Rs 100.

The bank has fixed the dividend rate at 8.25 per cent. It is distributed only in the year of profit.

Now, the preferential shares of Machhapuchchhre Bank will also be traded from Wednesday. These shares will be traded only among institutional investors. This is because general investors, securities dealers (securities brokers, stock traders, merchant bankers, etc.) licensed by the Securities Board of India (SEBON) and mutual investment funds are not allowed to buy and sell these preferential shares.

Today, NMB Bank’s preference shares worth Rs 3 billion were listed on NEPSE. The dividend rate of this preference share is also 8.25 percent.
