Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank has donated Rs 1.31 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund to help the people and communities affected by the recent Bhotekoshi floods. The bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ram Kumar Tiwari handed over the cheque of the amount under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program and voluntary support of the employees to the Honorable Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle at the Ministry of Finance, Singha Durbar.
During the program, Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer, Bikash Anand, Chief Financial Officer, Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Compliance Officer, Bishnu Dev Yadav, Chief Business Promotion Officer, Prabin Mani Bajracharya and other senior government officials were present.
This initiation further strengthens the Bank’s CSR and humanitarian welfare by standing firmly with the affected communities during this difficult time of disaster.
