Nepal SBI Bank Conducts Financial Literacy Program at 44 Locations

Kathmandu. On the occasion of Global Money Week 2026, Nepal SBI Bank Limited has organized financial literacy programs targeting students and youths from March 15 to March 24 with the slogan “Smart Money Talks”.

The program organized in all seven provinces educated school and college students on various topics including importance of saving, credit and investment, digital banking, awareness about digital fraud and other basic banking and financial concepts.

The programs will be held in Itahari, Bhojpur, Biratnagar, Bargachhi, Birtamode, Ilam, Damak and Phidim of Koshi Province, Simara, Bardibas, Birgunj, Chand Nigahapur, Rajgadh, Pidari Chowk and Janakpur of Madhes Province, Patan, Dhading, Narayangadh and Hetauda of Bagmati Province, Dulegauda, Pokhara, Abukhaireni, Besishahar, Damauli, Waling, Kawasoti, Birauta and Shishuwa of Lumbini Province, Sunchhahari, Dang, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Sandhikharka, Lamahi and Rampur Bazaar of Karnali Province, Surkhet and Chamunda of Karnali Province. More than 3000 students and youths were benefited from the programs held in Dhangadhi, Ganyapdhura, Dadeldhura, Mahendranagar, Shivanath, Attariya and Tikapur of Sudurpaschim Province.

Nepal SBI Bank Limited has been providing banking services for the last 32 years. The bank currently has a network of 102 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 provincial offices, 21 branchless banking outlets, 127 ATMs and one corporate office.
