KATHMANDU: Nepal has been re-elected as the executive member of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Developing Countries (AIRDC).
Nepal has been re-elected as an executive member of the 24th AIRDC conference held in Harare, Zimbabwe. The conference will be held from September 27-30.
More than 500 professionals from 28 member countries, including Nepal, are participating in the conference as guests. The theme of the conference is ‘Strengthening Insurance Sector for Developing Countries Amidst Geopolitical and Technological Turmoil’.
Chunky Chhetri, CEO of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance, is participating in the conference from Nepal. He participated as a panel speaker.
CEO Chhetri also presented his views on the topic ‘The Ultimate Stress Test: How Developing Country Insurers Survive Economy Disturbances’.
