Nepal Micro Insurance earns net profit of Rs 2.55 crore

Kathmandu. Nepal Micro Insurance Company in the fiscal year 2082. The company has released its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of FY83. According to the financial report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 2.55 crore in the first nine months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4.81 crore in the year ended March 2018. The company’s profit has increased attractively in the review year compared to the previous fiscal year.

As of the review period, the company has 24,46,000 rupees in special reserve, Rs 2,44,000 in catastrophe fund and Rs 4,89,000 in other equity. As of mid-July last year, it had Rs 26,74,000 in special reserve, Rs 2,67,000 in catastrophe fund and Rs 18,000 in other equities.

The company has earned a net profit of Rs 13.83 crore in the review period. The company has earned Rs 5.54 crore in net insurance premium till mid-April of the current fiscal year. The company had posted a net insurance premium of Rs 7.30 crore in the same period of the previous FY.

The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 750 million and has EPS of Rs 4.54 per share. The net worth per share is Rs 100.17. The solvency ratio of the company stands at 2.03 percent.
