Kathmandu. The Special Court has ordered the release of Ashish Shrestha, the former chairman of Nepal Micro Insurance, on bail.
A division bench of Barudko Acharya, Hemanta Rawal and Umesh Koirala issued the order to release the accused on bail of Rs 25 lakh.
Shrestha has been implicated in the money laundering case along with 34 people, including Himalayan Reinsurance promoter Sulav Agrawal and Deepak Bhatta. He has been accused of misappropriation of investment and money laundering of Nepal Micro Insurance.
