Kathmandu. Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has organized the MDRT Achievers Award 2026 in Pokhara from January 26 to 29. From January to December 2025, 110 agents who qualified for MDRT 2026 were honored.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Prabin Raman Parajuli, Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal, Director of the Program Company, congratulated the agents who were successful in qualifying the program by meeting the criteria set by an international organization like MDRT and wished them all the best for the days ahead.
He urged the qualified agents to go to the international level and get exposure. He said that this type of program would help in getting acquainted with the international good practices in the insurance sector as well as help in policy formulation related to insurance in Nepal.
He also praised all the agents who have been successful despite the difficult times of economic slowdown in the world economy.
Stating that the use of Artificial Intelligence is increasing in every sector and a situation has arisen that employment will be cut in various sectors in the coming days, the work of insurance agents will never be displaced, he said, urging the general public to spread awareness about life insurance by keeping in mind the dignity and glory of the profession.
Mr. Praveen Raman Parajuli, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said that the company is pleased to organize the event in a grand manner. Nepal Life Insurance has around one-third share in the insurance market and urged the company to further strengthen its presence by expanding its insurance reach among the general public in the days ahead.
Mr. Parajuli said that the agent friends are the backbone of the company and Nepal Life has become successful due to their hard work and hard work and he is confident that it will be stronger in the market in the coming days. CEO Parajuli also said that the company is sensitive to the all-round development of agents.
Noting that the agent is a companion of progress, he urged the general public to move ahead with a concrete action plan to materialize the utility and relevance of insurance in Nepal.
Speaking on the occasion, the company’s National Sales Head Umapati Pokharel congratulated all those who will be felicitated and said that the company is eager to honor more MDRTs next year. He urged all the insurance agencies to unite on a war footing without leaving any stone unturned to take the insurance to the doorsteps of the Nepalis with more energy in the coming days.
On the occasion, General Secretary of the Federation of Professional Insurance Agents Om KC thanked all the insurance agents for achieving the target of last year. He said that the agents of Nepal Life Insurance are the best and capable agents in Nepal. All the agents of Nepal Life are committed to further increase the market share of Nepal Life Insurance and maintain the trust of the insured.
Chairman of Nepal Insurance Agency, Nepal Life Insurance Association, Mr. Ganesh Adhikari thanked the company management for the grand and civilized program and thanked all the qualified MDRTs.
He appreciated the steps being taken by the company for the rights of the agents and the insured and said that he was confident that the company management would provide similar support in the coming days.

He praised the company for organizing various programs for the skill development of agents and suggested the management to make it more refined in the coming days.
