KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company has provided financial assistance of Rs 2.51 crore to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue, relief, rehabilitation and humanitarian assistance of the families affected by the floods and natural disasters in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district.

The cheque amount was handed over jointly by the company’s director Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, former chairman Govinda Lal Sanghai and chief executive officer Prabin Raman Parajuli to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.

The company believes that the assistance will contribute in immediate rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the natural disaster.

Nepal Life has expressed its deepest sympathies to the affected families during this difficult time of disaster and wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured. It also expressed its commitment to social responsibility and will continue to work with the state and community in times of disaster and crisis.

Nepal Life Insurance has appealed to all the citizens to help from their respective areas in the relief and rehabilitation of the affected communities.
