Kathmandu. In continuation of its commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited through Kathmandu Round Table-1 provided financial support for the completion of a residential building for blind children under construction by Trinetra Foundation.
The newly constructed residential building will provide a safe, comfortable and loving living environment for up to 60 visually impaired children. The building consists of dormitories, classrooms, sanitation facilities, Braille library, music room and other necessary residential facilities. Prior to this, the Foundation had been operating its service from a small rented house with limited resources. With the new building coming into operation, the capacity of the organization to provide quality housing, education and life skills to visually impaired children has expanded significantly.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Praveen Raman Parajuli, Chief Executive Officer, Nepal Life Insurance Company Ltd. said, “Nepal Life Insurance considers not only business success but also the positive impact it can create in the society.
