Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has conducted Agriculture, Livestock and Medicinal Herbs Insurance Agent Training and Insurance Education Program. The training was conducted from May 1 to May 20 at Hotel Kulash, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur.
Bipul Kharel of the company’s Agriculture Insurance Department, Central Office acted as the chief facilitator and imparted training to the trainees participating in the program. The program is being conducted simultaneously through both physical and virtual mediums.
A significant number of agents from Darchula, Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Kanchanpur and other places of the country participated in the training.
The training was also imparted training by Khem Raj Awasthi, head of the company’s provincial office Dhangadhi and Rajendra Bista, head of Mahendranagar branch.
The participants of the training said that they have been able to learn about the importance of insurance in the field of insurance and risk reduction and they are excited as they get a legal license to work according to their qualifications and expertise.
