Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has organized a New Year 2083 greetings exchange programme at the central office of the NEA, Kupandole today. Addressing the program, Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Sushil Dev Subedi said that all should work together for the development, expansion and increase of access to insurance sector.
Stating that NEA has been working without any prejudice or prejudice towards anyone, Managing Director Subedi directed the insurance companies to work in accordance with the Act, Rules and Directives related to the insurance business.
NEA is always ready to facilitate for the development and expansion of insurance sector, good governance, adoption of latest technology and expansion of insurance sector.
In his welcome remarks, Director of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) Pujan Dhungel said that insurance has increased significantly in recent period and almost 50 percent of the population of the country has access to insurance.
Director Dhungel pointed out the need of collective efforts to make insurance sector strong, reliable, modern and inclusive by prioritizing the insurance service to the rural areas along with risk management.
On the occasion, an informative book on insurance titled ‘Bimako Chitrakathako Collection’ was launched by Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) targeting school students.
On the occasion, the presidents of Nepal Insurance Association, Nepal Life Insurance Association and Nepal Small Life Insurance Association along with the CEOs of various insurance companies extended their best wishes to the insurance companies.
The program was attended by the Directors of the Insurance Authority, CEOs of Life Insurance Companies, Non-Life Insurance Companies, Micro Insurance Companies and Reinsurance Companies, and the employees of NEA.
