Nepal Bank has donated Rs. 30.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. Rs. 30.1 million

Kathmandu. Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has contributed Rs. 30.1 million from its Corporate Social Responsibility Fund (CSRF) to provide financial assistance to the people affected by the natural disaster in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts due to the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers of Rasuwa on Wednesday morning. The bank has contributed Rs. 30.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

In addition, the bank has expressed deep sorrow and condolences to the bereaved family while paying tribute to the loss of lives in floods and landslides. Amrit Lamsal, a member of the bank’s board of directors, handed over a cheque of Rs 3.01 crore to the Honorable Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.

Honorable Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle thanked the bank for providing financial support to the flood victims from the Corporate Social Responsibility Fund of Nepal Bank. Swarnim Wagle thanked the bank family.

Mr. Amrit Lamsal, Member of the Board of Directors of the Bank said that the bank has been providing financial support during natural disasters, earthquakes, epidemics and other national disasters.

The event was graced by Mr. Badri Khanal, Member of Board of Directors, Mr. Tilak Raj Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Mr. Hom Bahadur Khadka and Chief Executive Officer of Good Governance Division, Mr. Homnath Dahal.
