Kathmandu. The Nepal America Journalists’ Association (NAMA), an organization of Nepali journalists active in North America, has organized a variety of programs to mark the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Nepali Journalists. NEZA will be celebrating its 19th anniversary on April 18 and 19 in Dallas, Texas.
On April 18, 2018, the NEJA Conclave will host a dialogue program on Nepal-US relations and a series of speeches titled “Diverse Communities America’s Power.” The conference will be attended by US state lawmakers, representatives from various cities, Nepali diplomats, community leaders and media persons. On the same day, there will be a panel discussion on Diversity in Media and Community Issues, Nepal’s Representation in Global Media, Reality and Global Perspective. Similarly, in the context of the management of community media in the Diaspora, there is a program of sharing the experience of those who have been operating community media in the Diaspora for a long time.
Similarly, an interactive dialogue on Overseas Investment in Nepal is being organized in Orving, Dallas on April 19. The interaction is being organized by NEJA in collaboration with the Government of Nepal, Consulate General’s Office in Dallas, Texas. Diplomats from Nepal will also participate in both the programs. On April 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the organization is donating blood in collaboration with Blood Donors of America and the Youth Medical Alliance Association.
