Kathmandu. Ncell Axiata has collectively contributed Rs 33.50 million for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
The receipt of the amount collected from the employees was deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund today. The amount was handed over to Arjun Ghimire, Chairman of Nepal Telecommunication Authority in the presence of Bikram Timilsina. Chief Regulatory and Corporate Services Officer of Ncell Axiata Limited Dilliram Shrestha handed over the amount.
The floods in the Bhotekoshi River have caused huge loss of life and property in different areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan. The government and non-government sectors are mobilizing assistance for the rescue, distribution and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people.
Ncell Axiata Limited has already made an institutional contribution of Rs One Crore to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
