Kathmandu. NADA has provided relief materials to the people affected by the massive increase in Nuwakot, Timure and Rasuwa on August 10. The relief materials were formally handed over to the District Coordination Committee Office, Nuwakot in coordination with the District Administration Office Nuwakot by NADA representatives led by NADA Treasurer Pankaj Agrawal and Joint Treasurer Nilmani Pathak on August 10.
In this regard, a NADA delegation led by NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti met Honorable Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on September 3 and deposited Rs. 10 lakh in cash to be deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. NADA has also provided cash assistance of Rs. 10 lakh. NADA has been providing financial and material assistance as much as possible in such disasters as part of its social responsibility for the past.
