Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has won the prestigious award “Best Commercial Bank (Nepal)”. The award was received by Mr. Malay Mukherjee, Director of the bank, at the 4th Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards 2026 organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in New Delhi, India on Friday.
According to the bank, the award is the result of the trust of the customers, dedication of the employees and continuous support of the stakeholders. According to the bank, this will encourage further strengthening of banking services and innovation.
Mr. Bhupendra Pandey, Acting CEO of the Bank said, “We are very happy to receive the award. “Once again the bank has been honored with prestigious awards, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all stakeholders for their continuous support, support and encouragement,” he added.
Banks from Nepal, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand and Bangladesh participated in the award. ICC is India’s leading chamber of commerce and industry. It is a member of India’s leading business groups and represents the industry and businesses that are expanding their business activities both domestically and internationally.
Nabil Bank has also received three prestigious international awards recently. The bank has been bagged with the titles of “Nepal Best Bank”, “Nepal’s Best Bank for ESG” and “Nepal’s Best Bank for SME” under Euromoney Awards for Excellence. According to the bank, the award was presented for strong financial position, customer centric service, leadership in digital banking and overall banking excellence.
