Jestha 15 is a public holiday on the occasion of Republic Day. The budget speech will be held on the same day.

On this day, everyone wakes up early in the morning, bathes, washes, purifies, and goes to open places or mosques to read Namaz and exchange greetings with each other. There is a tradition of sacrificing goats, goats, buffaloes and buffaloes after returning home after completing their studies. The meat of the sacrificed animal is divided into three parts, one part for oneself, another part to one’s near friends, and the last third to the poor and helpless.

According to Muslim scriptures, about four thousand years ago, Hazrat Ibrahim saw his God offering his most beloved thing to him in a dream and then sacrificed his own son by stabbing him. The purpose of sacrifice is to awaken the feeling that life and death are all for God.
