Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank, under its social responsibility (CSR), has provided wheelchair support to various organizations of Nepal, to make healthcare accessible, promote inclusivity and reinforce its commitment towards sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Under this program, the bank has handed over 10 wheelchairs to Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi-01, Kailali. The bank believes that the support will help in commuting in the hospital premises in a comfortable and safe manner for the patients and senior citizens and those with mobility difficulties.
The bank believes that this will facilitate access to health services and contribute to creating a customer-friendly environment. The bank also provided 10 wheelchairs to Youth Disabled Association Nepal, Gokarneshwor.
The assistance is expected to help people with different abilities in need at the time of need and contribute positively to their dignified, comfortable and inclusive life.
Through such programs, the bank believes that it will support the Sustainable Development Goals of “Good Health and Well-being” and “Reduced Inequalities.”
