Muktinath Bikas Bank donates Rs. 50 lakhs to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank has donated Rs 50 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The bank has provided this assistance to the flood affected people in Timure, Syafrubesi, Betrawati, Trishuli, Devighat and other places in Bhotekoshi on August 23.

The entire bank family has been saddened by the loss of life and property due to the floods in the area which have caused unimaginable and immense loss of life and property to the people of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan districts directly and indirectly in the area for various purposes. The bank has expressed its heartfelt condolences to all the dignitaries who lost their lives in this hour of calamity. Also, the entire bereaved family has expressed deep condolences.

With an aim to support the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods brought by nature, the bank has contributed Rs. 50 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. It has provided Rs. 50 lakhs.

It is also the social responsibility of the bank to support the relief and rescue work of the affected families in this difficult situation where floods have caused loss of life and property in different parts of the country and a large number of citizens have been affected.

Expressing solidarity with the affected people at this hour of disaster, the bank believes that the assistance provided will contribute to the relief and rescue operations to some extent.

The bank has pledged to continue its social responsibility programs in the coming days as well as support to the disaster-affected citizens.
