Kathmandu. More than 5 lakh units of shares of the two commercial banks have been put up for sale.
A total of 5,07,681.66 units of promoter shares of Citizens Bank and Kumari Bank were issued. Among them, Citizens Bank has 2,77,264.66 units and Kumari Bank has 2,30,417 units.
Eligible individuals and organizations can apply for the shares of Citizens Bank while promoter shareholders of Kumari Bank can apply for the shares. The applicant has to apply within 15 days to buy the shares of Citizens Bank and 35 days to buy the shares of Kumari Bank.
Interested bidders can submit their application to the central office of the bank, located at Narayanhiti Path, Kathmandu. Interested bidders can apply for the shares at Kumari Capital Limited, Naxal, Kathmandu and Kumari Bank’s head office at Tangal, Kathmandu.
Kumari Bank will be open for sale to other individuals and organizations if no application is received from the promoter shareholders within the stipulated period.
