Kathmandu. MetLife Nepal’s agency team led by General Manager Nirmal Kaji Shrestha has organized insurance awareness programs in various districts across the country. Through this program, more than 800 citizens, businesses and community representatives were directly made aware of the importance of insurance.
The initiative, which is being organized in 13 different cities, will inspire rural families of the country to secure their future and move forward with self-reliance.
From Ilam in the east to Mahendranagar in the west, the locals have got an opportunity to understand the importance, purpose and rationale of insurance. MetLife Nepal has openly communicated with local communities – dispelling the misconceptions, misconceptions, and mistrust surrounding insurance as a “life protection tool.”
Each program hopes to bring about a change in both their emotions and behaviors, as participants hear real-life examples of their own life risks, family challenges, and how insurance can support them.
The program aims to reinforce MetLife’s Customer First slogan and redefine insurance as a safety net that prevents uncertainty of the future, protects children’s dreams from education to healthcare, and is a force to be reckoned with. Long-term insurance is a permanent step in building a culture in Nepal, enhancing financial sustainability, and steering our families across the country towards a secure future.
