Kathmandu. MetLife Nepal Limited and Khalti Suraksha have launched a new digital insurance scheme called ‘Suraksha 360’. The campaign will now be easily accessible through the Khalti App, which aims to make financial protection simpler, faster, and more accessible.
There is no longer a need to wait for a long time or complicated process to get insurance service. Designed for mobile users, the ‘Suraksha 360’ plan can be purchased in a few minutes by filling in some basic personal details. The scheme aims to provide a smoother experience through a digital platform that many Nepalese use on a daily basis, while reducing paperwork and simplifying steps.
Suraksha360 brings a bundle of life and health protections all under a single plan, thereby eliminating the hassles of managing multiple insurance policies. The scheme includes life insurance, accidental death and permanent disability cover, critical illness insurance and accidental treatment expenses.
The scheme is available in three packages—Silver, Gold and Platinum, which aims to address the financial risks related to life and health in a holistic manner. Customers can choose the plan that suits their needs and budget. Rs. Rs. 23 lakhs to Rs. The annual premium of this scheme is Rs. 46 lakhs. Starting from Rs. 3,810, overall insurance coverage is expected to be more accessible and affordable for many Nepalese in the age group of 18 to 50 years.
