Kathmandu. A new milestone has been added to Nepal’s AAC block manufacturing sector. Nepal’s leading A.A.C. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Mechi Industries Limited (Mechi Industries Ltd) and Laxmi In-Fab Pvt. Ltd., a reputed technology provider of India.
As per the agreement, Mechi Industries will add 5,000 cubic meters of AAC per month to its production capacity. According to the company’s long-term strategy to expand its production range along with the capacity addition, the company has decided to purchase modern plant and equipment required for the production of motor adhesive, readymix plaster, tile adhesive and wall putty and has signed purchase agreement with the concerned suppliers. The partnership reflects a shared vision of sustainable development, cutting-edge technology, and strong manufacturing capabilities in the construction sector.

In addition, Mechi Industries Limited has received three significant certifications as part of its long-term strategy to strengthen its management system to international standards. The company has been internationally accredited with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) and 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
