Kathmandu. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control has directed the manufacturers to recall Sai Kripa Gold Tea from the market.
After the tea was found to be contaminated, the department directed the manufacturer Sai Kripa Tea Industry to recall it from the market. The industry has been asked to recall all the teas of 1000 grams. 83.D.05.
The department tested the samples of the tea in the laboratory and found it to be contaminated (unfit for consumption). After this, the manufacturers were directed to recall the tea from the market under the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081.
