Kathmandu. Mahesh Sharma Dhakal has been appointed as the acting CEO of Nepal Investment Mega Bank.
A meeting of the board of directors of the bank held on Wednesday decided to appoint Dhakal as the acting CEO of the bank. Currently, Dhakal is the deputy CEO of the bank.
The bank’s CEO Jyoti Prakash Pandey has been arrested in connection with the Smart Telecom scam. According to Sachin Tibrewal, chief of finance and planning department of the bank, Dhakal has been given authority to handle all the operations of the bank.
