Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, which has been providing state-of-the-art, secure and convenient digital banking services to its customers, organized a two-day workshop on March 7-25 to express its commitment towards the protection of environment, culture and heritage, and promotion of sustainable banking.
The two-day event was conducted with enthusiastic participation of the bank’s departmental heads, provincial heads, branch managers and other staffers.
The event concluded with a collective trekking on the banks of the historically and ecologically important Fewa Lake to spread the message among the general public that the banking sector should adopt sustainable financial practices. The program also emphasized the need for green banking and a sustainable financial strategy.
The bank has been providing quality financial services at the doorstep of people of Nepal for the last 31 years and has 103 branches and more than 850,000 customers throughout the country.
