Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has officially inaugurated a digital hub with coffee lounge at Gyaneshwor, Ward No. 30 of Kathmandu. Mr. Rajesh Upadhyaya, Chairman of Board of Directors of the Bank inaugurated the new office building which is a digital hub with coffee lounge.
The program was attended by the Board of Directors of the Bank, the CEO and the senior management committee of the bank and the bank’s staff.
In continuation of the bank’s continuation of its digital banking policies to modernize, make digital banking services secure, technological and customer-friendly, the facility of coffee lounge has been added as a use of innovative concepts in the banking services to enable customers to experience unique experiences of deposit, cheque clearing, cash withdrawal and other electronic transactions in a comfortable environment. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank is the first bank in Nepal’s banking sector to provide this type of service.
The digital hub with coffee lounge has been launched to attract youths towards the use of digital technology and expand access to the customers, which is expected to become a center of learning and experience for the customers.
The bank is committed to provide new financial services to its customers by encouraging innovation in financial services in the future by adopting the concept of “Buying and Selling Money” of Nepal Rastra Bank.
