Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has organized various programs from May 15 to May 20 to mark the completion of 32nd year. As part of the annual program, the bank organized a morning rally with financial literacy on May 05 with the participation of employees of the bank’s central office, provincial offices and branches. The programs covered topics related to banking services such as mobile banking, smart QR, deposit, loan, remittance, etc.
The bank also organized a free health camp at the bank’s central office on May 18 and free dental and eye camp on May 18. In these camps, about 200 people were examined for their health, eyes and teeth. On the occasion of its anniversary, the bank organized blood donation programs at various provincial offices and central offices across the country on May 21.
200 pints of blood were collected through the blood donation program. On the occasion of its 32nd anniversary, the bank organized a blood donation program to facilitate the management of blood which is a challenge in the health sector. On the same day, the bank handed over hygiene and hygiene materials to various Mahalaxmi Temples in different places, prioritizing the promotion of culture and temple cleanliness. The bank has also supported for the promotion/maintenance of the garden at Mahalaxmi Temple located at Mahalaxmisthan, Lalitpur and for promotion of digital Dakshina payment.
In addition, the bank organized a mockery of local costumes to highlight the geographical and cultural situation of the country through its central office, provincial offices and branch offices on May 7. On the same day, the water tank was handed over to Narayanhiti Narayansthan Guthi Management Committee, Narayanhiti for the management of drinking water.
On the occasion of World Photography Day, which is celebrated on August 19, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has been organizing “Bichitra Photography Competition” every year to promote local small and medium businesses.
The bank will also be conducting the fifth series of Mahalaxmi Corporate Cricket, which is an important event of the annual celebration and has been successfully operated for the last 4 years.
