Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The government is to run a lottery program to encourage the culture of taking bills in the purchase and sale of goods and services.
Both houses of the Federal Parliament today voted for the fiscal year 2083. Presenting the budget for 84 years, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has made this announcement. “The programme is being introduced to make the tax system transparent and technology-friendly,” he said.
Finance Minister Poudel also announced that the system of refunding value added tax (VAT) would be automated.
