Liquidity Flu in Bank, CD Ratio 74.07%

Kathmandu. Deposits in the banking system have increased by Rs 5 billion in a single day. According to the data of Nepal Rastra Bank, deposits of Rs 7.57 trillion have reached Rs 7.57 trillion as of Tuesday.

Similarly, credit disbursement stood at Rs 5.676 trillion as of Monday and reached Rs 5.675 trillion on Tuesday. Credit flow has decreased by Rs 1 billion in a single day.

As of today, deposits of commercial banks have reached Rs 6.819 trillion and loans from commercial banks have reached Rs 50.48 trillion.

The CD ratio has come down to 74.07 percent and the interbank interest rate is 2.75 percent. The CD ratio was 74.12 percent the previous day.
