Kathmandu. In the fiscal year 2082/83, life insurance companies have collected over Rs 111 billion in insurance premiums. As per the data published by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), life insurance companies have earned Rs 111.05 billion in insurance premiums by selling 1,15,13,377 insurance policies.
During this period, Nepal Life Insurance Company has collected the highest premium. The company has earned Rs 29.59 billion in insurance premiums. National Life Insurance has collected Rs 13.31 billion in insurance premiums. LIC Nepal has collected Rs 12.03 billion in insurance premiums.
Himalayan Life Insurance has collected Rs 10.43 billion in insurance premiums from its quarters. National Life Insurance Company has collected Rs 7.61 billion in insurance premiums. Surya Jyoti Life has collected Rs 6.66 billion in insurance premiums. Asian Life Insurance has collected Rs 5.56 billion in insurance premiums. Meanwhile, Citizen Life has collected Rs 4.73 billion in insurance premiums.

Sanima Life Insurance has collected Rs 4.27 billion in insurance premiums. IME Life has earned a premium of Rs 3.86 billion. MetLife has collected Rs 3.71 billion in insurance premiums. Reliable Nepal Life Insurance has collected Rs 3.48 billion in insurance premiums from today. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has collected Rs 3.25 billion in insurance premiums from today. Sun Nepal Life has earned Rs 2.49 billion in insurance premiums.
