KATHMANDU: Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) has opened its 77th branch in Jhapa district of Koshi Province. The company has established a sub-branch office at the place to simplify and facilitate customer service.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer Pranay Kumar inaugurated the sub-branch office. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the company’s Koshi Province Chief Swarna Lal Karna, Branch Chief Umesh Sitaula, Birtamod Branch Chief Jyoti Ku. Poudel and others.
With this sub-branch, the total number of branches and sub-branches of the company has reached 77. The company has said that it will open and operate 5 new sub-branches in the current financial year. The company said that it will expand more branches and sub-branch offices in the near future on the basis of feasibility for effective customer service.
The company has introduced 20 insurance plans including term, advance payment, lifetime and term targeting different segments. The company aims to provide easy insurance facilities to the customers through the opening of this new branch, as well as to support economic development by providing protection to the local people, businesses and society from potential financial risks.
