Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Lemon Tree, a popular international hotel chain, is set to take over the management of five-star hotel Ichchha in Simara of Bara. An agreement has been signed between Hotel Ichha and India’s famous Lemon Tree Hotel.
Lemon Tree is the third hotel to operate in Nepal. Lemon Tree has been operating a hotel in Kathmandu and a resort in Chitwan. A five-star hotel of Lemon Tree is preparing to operate in Biratnagar. The hotel constructed at Bhrikuti Chowk in Biratnagar is set to be inaugurated in April.
The agreement was signed by Munson Wagle, Managing Director of Hotel Ichchha and Nilendra Singh, Managing Director of Lemon Tree. The signing ceremony was also attended by Gokarna Khatiwada, Member of Board of Directors of Hotel Ichchha and Chief Executive Officer Rewanta Prasad Dhaubadel.
After the agreement, the hotel will now operate under the brand name of Ichha Lemon Tree Hotel. According to Khatiwada, the proprietor of Hotel Ichchha will contribute to the promotion of tourism in Bara and Simara region. With the entry of international chain brands, Hotel Ichchha will take the quality of its service to a new height.
