Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has warned one and all to take precaution while navigating through the river corridor as there is a possibility of flood in the rivers of Kathmandu.
Issuing a press release on Wednesday evening, the NRA urged the people living near the rivers and those travelling through the corridors to stay alert until the morning as the flood level in the Bagmati, Bishnumati, Dhobikhola, Hanumante and Manohara rivulets is increasing and more rainfall is predicted on Wednesday night.
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces tonight.
