Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kabita Pokharel has been unanimously elected as the Deputy Secretary General of Independent Power Producers’ Association of Nepal (IPPAN).
Pokharel has been elected to the post of Deputy General Secretary of IPPAN for the next term. The 24th Annual General Meeting of IPPAN will be held on June 12. Those elected in the same Assembly shall elect a new working committee.
Pokharel has filed his candidacy for the post of deputy general secretary of the new working committee. For this reason, she was elected to the post of Deputy General Secretary.
Pokharel’s candidacy was from the panel of Uttam Vlon. Pokharel was automatically elected to the post of Deputy General Secretary after other panels did not file candidacy for the post of Deputy General Secretary. His election will be announced on Friday.
Pokharel is currently serving as the secretary of IPPAN.
