Kathmandu. The Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has urged the insurance companies to claim the loss of life and property during the agitation.
Issuing a notice today, the NRA urged the government to insure the loss of life and property during the Zenji agitation on September 7 and 24. As there is a legal provision that the insured can get the claim payment as per the terms and conditions of the policy, the authority has requested the insurance company concerned to make a claim with the necessary documents.
Similarly, if the insurance company does not pay the insurance claim within the period specified in the policy, does not determine the liability or determines the liability in such a way that the insured person is affected, the concerned insured can file a complaint with the Insurance Authority.
