Kathmandu. The head of Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, has reacted to US President Donald Trump’s statement on Hormuz. Azizi said Trump should focus on his own security instead of his constant threats about Hormuz. ’
“Trump may have to hide in a food truck for his own safety,” Azizi wrote on X. ’
Azizzi’s statement came in response to Trump’s statement last night that he would “declare Strait Hormuz as US territory”.
The White House later said that Trump made this statement in jest. However, his statement has attracted widespread media attention and many Iranian officials and politicians have also reacted. –Agency
