Kathmandu. Iran has demanded wartime damages from its neighbours Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Erwani, has sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. “These 5 countries have violated international law and now they must fully compensate Iran for the damages they have suffered,” the letter said. ’
According to BBC Persian, the letter written by Iranian Ambassador Amir Saeed Erwani was published by the IRNA news agency. “These countries have not fulfilled their obligations to Iran,” the letter said. Therefore, their international responsibility has now been established. They must fully compensate Iran for all damages, including physical and mental damage. ’
This is not the first time Iran has made such a demand. Earlier, Iran had also demanded compensation from the United States for wartime damage. –Agency
