Kathmandu. Tensions between Iran and the United States have reached a new point. Apart from missiles and drones, technology companies are now the targets.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) has released a list of 18 US companies, warning of a possible attack. As a result, major corporate institutions are also weak.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps has issued a direct warning to US tech companies. According to state media reports, the IRGC has released a list of 18 major companies identified as potential targets. The list includes Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel and Tesla.
According to the IRGC, the regional operations of these companies could be attacked. Iran has clearly said that this action is in response to the attack on its territory. The response will no longer be limited to military bases. But the institutions that Iran considers part of the overall conflict will also expand.
“These companies should expect the destruction of their units in retaliation for every terrorist attack in Iran,” the IRGC said in a statement. Iran has also set a deadline for the attack. The series will begin on April 1 and can begin at 8 p.m. Tehran time.
The nature of the war has changed, Tasnim news agency said in a statement. US ICT and AI companies are playing a role in the design and monitoring of the systems used in the attack. “From now on, these institutions will be our targets,” Iran said. ’
The IRGC also warned employees working in these companies to leave their offices immediately for their safety. This is the first time that tech companies have been openly targeted in this way. This is pushing the current conflict beyond the confines of conventional warfare. –Agency
