Kathmandu. Stock brokers will be providing margin trading facility from April 15, 2083.
Issuing a press release today, the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (SEA) informed that the brokers will be providing this facility from April 15. The executive committee meeting of the association today approved the working procedure of the brokers regarding margin trading facility.
Earlier, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) had implemented the ‘Margin Trading Facility Directive, 2082’. After this, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) had issued ‘Margin Trading Facility Work Procedure, 2082’.
The stock brokers have developed their procedures for margin trading facility after both the market regulator and the director prepared the draft of margin trading facility. According to the press release, the securities brokers are preparing to provide this facility to the investors from the eligible brokers from April 1, 2083 as all the processes related to margin trading have been completed.
