Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has directed the insurance companies to prepare a digital tracking system in the insurance claim and implement it within 3 months.
The authority has issued a circular to all types of insurance companies in this regard. The authority has directed the authorities to implement this system to make the claim management process of the insurer more transparent, accountable, effective and technology-friendly and to ensure that the insured gets real-time information about their claim status.
Digital Tracking System (The insured is a system of information about every stage of the claim process from the time the insured reports the claim to the insurer pays the claim. The Authority has directed to prepare this system within 3 months and implement it compulsorily.
