Kathmandu. Insured people of Himalayan Life Insurance Company can apply for a loan up to Rs 1 lakh online. This type of service has been made available in collaboration with Khalti app with the objective of providing easy loan to the policyholders of the company.
The company has made arrangements to provide loan to the insured after applying online for the loan under the policy. According to the directives issued by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the regulatory body of insurance companies, the insured can take the loan after the completion of three years of the policy.
The company has made an arrangement to take loan under insurance policy online in collaboration with Khalti App, so that one does not have to go to the company to get a loan of up to one lakh and can get the loan from anywhere. After registering their policy number in the policy, the policyholders have to go to the HLI digital loan option available in Khalti app, after registering their policy number in the policy, apply for the loan within the limit of one lakh.
In order to avail online insurance loan facility from the company, the company must match the KYC and mobile number used while insuring the insurance and opening the Khalti app, otherwise the loan will not be received.
On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the company, Kapil Kumar Dahal, said that this type of facility has been introduced to provide loan to the policyholders in a quick and quick manner. The company said that this type of facility will be expanded in the coming days based on the effectiveness of the online insurance loan facility.
